About the Department

Dedicated to the Scientific Study of Animal Life

The Department of Zoology at Mohammadpur Kendriya College began its Honours journey in the academic year 2005–06 under the National University of Bangladesh. Since its inception, the department has provided high-quality education in animal biology, physiology, genetics, ecology, and evolution. Our goal is to produce skilled graduates who contribute meaningfully to biological research, education, and environmental conservation. The department maintains a vibrant academic atmosphere with experienced faculty, well-equipped laboratories, and a rich seminar library. Students also participate in fieldwork and practical sessions, ensuring hands-on scientific experience. With modern teaching methodologies and extracurricular opportunities, we aim to foster critical thinking and ethical scientific exploration. Our graduates pursue successful careers in education, research, public service, and environmental organizations.
